Mistakes We Do While Reducing Fat

Mistakes We Do While Reducing Fat
By Pankaj Singh Gusain

Obesity has become such a worldwide epidemic that every 2nd person has a mindset in which they have a rising need to lose weight in order to retain a healthy lifestyle with longevity. Sometimes, trying to lose weight can become quite overwhelming and we may feel as if everything we are doing is right yet all our efforts seem to go in vain.

What really happens is that people often hinder their own progress by following impractical and outdated advice. Here are a few commons mistakes/misconceptions about losing fat:-

Eating too little or eating too many calories
We have the notion that skipping meals will help us to burn calories while at the same time prevent their intake as well. However, skipping meals only increases our appetite further, due to which we tend to binge or overeat and end up eating many more calories as usual.
Not exercising or exercising too much
Some of us believe that we can reduce our belly fat by just maintaining a healthy diet or only by following a strict workout regimen. Both of those opinions could not be any more wrong. Diet and exercise both play a very important role in burning our fat and we need to keep a hold on both in order to reduce fat quickly. If we exercise too much and don't eat a proper diet, we lose precious muscle mass and if we eat too much and exercise too little, that reduces our metabolism, which is not good for the body
Choosing low fat or "dieting" foods
Who doesn't love a fulfilling shortcut in life, be it in terms of career, health or even love. It is,however, very critical to understand the fact that there are no shortcuts to a healthy body. Every single movement we make is crucial when it comes to sculpting a perfectly chiselled body.We need to maintain a balanced diet with all the necessary vitamins and minerals.
Not consuming enough protein
Protein is the "muscle building" ingredient in our food. The more we exercise, more muscles we use which further increments the deficit of protein in our body. Protein can be easily found in foods such as pulses, Meats, Dairy and Soybean.
Not doing weight training exercises/ focusing too much on cardio
Studies show that weight training exercises such as lifting weights is one of the most effective exercise strategies for gaining muscle and increasing metabolic rate. It also leads to an improved overall body composition and also boosts belly fat loss. In fact the best strategy for weight loss seems to be a combination of aerobic exercises and weightlifting
Not sleeping enough
Sleep is as important in losing weight as exercise, if not more. Our body requires at least 6-8 hours of deep sleep every night especially if we are following a strict exercising routine. The damaged tissues need resting time in order to build themselves and use the nutrition that we intake.
Not using the right equipment for burning fat
Using the right therapeutic equipment is extremely crucial. You may use medical equipments such as tummy trimmer in order to lose weight effortlessly at the comfort of your home/office.
Making too many changes in one go
Rome wasn't built in a day- what this statement means is that great things take time to build, same goes for a healthy and fit body.Start slow, make gradual changes and see your body become a temple as you start worshipping it.

One of best way to reduce a fat is Use tummy trimmer & one company which deal in tummy trimmer products is Lifeshield Healthcare.

This was a great article written by Pankaj Singh Gusain and I agree with many of his points on how to solve the problem of trying to lose weight.  Pankaj goes over all the problems that everyday people face when they are confronting the issue of weight loss.  One of the best lines from this article was about how Rome was not built in a day and that you cannot accomplish your weight loss goals in a day.  I think that that is a huge problem in today's society.  People want results and they want their results fast, if they do not see improvement in the first week many people end up giving up.

One thing that I am very glad that Pankaj covered is that you cannot just work out and get your dream body.  That is something I feel I have not discussed enough throughout my blog and I have future ideas to write about, but I am glad that Pankaj has brought that up already.  It is so important to lose weight to watch what you put into your body and exactly how much of what you put into your body.  I feel that Pankaj could have talked a lot more about macros and micros.  In short terms, macronutrients are proteins, fat, and carbohydrates which are the nutrients that provide your body with energy.  Micronutrients are like the vitamins that your body needs.  I think he left out a crucial part in explaining that to fully understand your weight loss journey or journey to your dream body, you really have to know how many micros and macros you need each day.

Pankaj also starts to get into aerobic exercises and metabolic weight, but I think this is a spot where he could have gone into target heart rate.  Basically, the target heart rate is the heart rate that you desire when you are exercising.  This is a relatively easy thing to find out and there are target heart rate calculators to figure out exactly where yours should be while working out.  Once you know what your target heart rate is if you have an apple watch or any fitness watch you can analyze where your heart rate during different points in your workout.

I think to understand weight loss, you have to use a combination of all the points that Pankaj brought up.  If you slack on one then you will not achieve your optimal goals.  I also think that you need to understand that this is a long journey and will not be accomplished overnight.  However, if you read the points that Pankaj mentioned and actually take those into your everyday life then you will start to lose weight steadily over some time.

The last thing that I want to mention is that I followed many of these strategies myself.  I had to fix my sleep schedule because I was not getting enough sleep or was going to bed at a different hour every night.  I had to mix cardio with my weight training and make sure I was not burning too many calories in a day.  I also had to start counting my grams of protein because I felt I lost weight, but I was gaining no muscle.  These tactics will work and I am a first-hand account of that.  There is no one stopping you besides yourself.  If you can convince yourself of that mentality then you will be able to solve the problem of not being able to lose weight.

When should I do cardio?

One thing that I have never agreed with when it comes to the fitness "experts" is when you should do your cardio workout.  Many of them say that you should do your strength or weight training and then perform your cardio workout.  However, I have done both cardio before weights and cardio after weights and I feel that one is a lot better than the other.  I am easily on the side of waking up in the morning going outside and getting a nice jog in.  I noticed when I performed cardio first, that I felt more energized during my strength training and I also felt more awake.  If I just started doing strength training, I felt myself being tired and losing focus easily.  As well as that, when I performed my cardio first, I thought of it as a way to stretch out my entire body.  It loosens you up and you will feel a lot more ready for whatever else you have planned for the day.   So basically, I am saying that I completely disagree with the people...

My story about Exercising Again and How I overcome the difficulties in front of me

This post is going to be a little bit different and tell the story of what happened to me and why I started to exercise.  I hope my story will push you to work out or show you how it is possible to lose weight. I think it is important to mention that in High School, I was always playing sports or working out so when Covid first hit I did not know what to do.  I was in college and was liked in our apartment with nothing to do.  So what do all college kids do?  We were playing video games all day and then on the weekends would start to drink.  These two things do not go well with each other when you are not having any sort of physical activity.  So, this was on for a few months, and I hadn't noticed any change until I stepped on the scale.  This was the heaviest I have ever been in my life and I was in really good shape at one point and was very muscular.  So I knew I had to do something about this.  Two things really motivated me to work...

Personal Interview with a Role Model For Me

I think that most of the time we do not look at our friends as role models or someone to look up to, but rather as peers or equals.  However, this is different for me with one of my friends who I asked a few questions.  This is the guy that got me started on my workout journey and is even more dedicated than me and knows about every ingredient of every food that he puts into his body.  So for this blog, I am interviewing my friend Nick. The first question that I asked was, "Do you have any tips for people that are trying to get into working out?" Nick answered, " I tried to have someone go with me at first.  It was hard to have the motivation every day to get up and go do something so I defiantly recommend having someone to do it with.  Another thing was just figuring out what worked for me.  I am the type of person that really enjoyed getting up early and that way I could be done for the day.  At first, I couldn't lift heavy weights or run 2 miles but...
